This market tracks whether the incumbent President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will secure a higher number of total popular votes in the 2027 Nigerian Presidential Election compared to his 2023 victory. In the 2023 election, Tinubu won the presidency with a total of 8,794,726 votes.

Rules

This market will resolve as Yes if the official total votes certified for Bola Tinubu by INEC in the 2027 presidential election is 8,794,727 or higher. This market will resolve as No if his official vote count is 8,794,726 or lower, or if he is not on the ballot as a presidential candidate for the 2027 election. If a rerun or runoff election occurs, only the vote count from the first national ballot of the 2027 presidential cycle will be used for resolution. Resolution will be based on official election voting results published and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
