This market tracks whether the NCDC (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) will officially confirm at least one laboratory-confirmed case of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Lagos State, Nigeria, before Friday, October 30, 2026. The resolution will be based on a report published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC), including its official X account @NCDCgov, or a credible media report explicitly confirming a laboratory-confirmed Ebola case in Lagos State.

Rules

It will resolve as Yes if an Ebola case is confirmed in Lagos by a report published by the NCDC before October 30, 2026. It will resolve as No if there is no such confirmation before the deadline. Reports of suspected Ebola cases, persons under investigation, unconfirmed test results, or cases confirmed outside Lagos State will resolve as No
