1%About this market
This market tracks who is officially declared the winner of the 2027 Nigerian Presidential Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The outcome is based strictly on INEC’s official declaration of results, regardless of subsequent disputes or legal challenges. If no candidate meets the constitutional threshold and a runoff is held, the market resolves based on the final INEC-declared winner after the runoff. If any listed candidate is disqualified, replaced, or withdraws, the market still resolves based on the final declared winner by INEC. If a different candidate not listed wins, it resolves under Others. If a court later overturns the result, the market still resolves based on INEC’s initial official declaration, not the final judicial outcome. If the election is cancelled or remains inconclusive with no official winner declared by December 31, 2027, the market resolves as Others. If no election is conducted or no winner is declared by December 31, 2027, the market resolves as Others.
